Hi! My name is Heather Asbach, aka the P3 Quilter. Like many of you, I began sewing at a young age, inspired by my grandmothers and aunts. For many years, I sewed clothing for myself and our four children. One day, a friend gave me a baby quilt for our newborn. I was so inspired by the beauty and color of the pattern, that I began to quilt. I continued to quilt off and on while rearing our children, and when my husband and I reached empty nest, I decided to make quilting my next “season” of life. In 2023, I had the privilege of becoming a Studio 180 Design Certified Instructor, and now enjoy, in addition to our growing family numbering seven grandsons, lecturing and teaching about the piecing techniques developed by Deb Tucker and her team to help all of us achieve our goals of well-made quilts that bring beauty into the world around us.
